Event Description:
The Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation will host its 2nd Annual Pennsylvania Children's Festival on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouse in Mechanicsburg, PA.
There will be plenty of activities for the entire family including pumpking painting, carnival games, food, exhibitors and so much more!
Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation annually assists more than 15,000 children, and their families, who are facing the hardships of a cancer diagnosis. We focus on improving the mental, social and emotional well-being of children with cancer by minimizing the devastation that cancer can cause. Our programs deliver toys to children with cancer, provide emergency financial assistance, send children to recreational camps, donate medicines and supplies to developing countries, and research less-toxic, minimally invasive treatments to improve life after cancer. Our newest initiative, Toxic Free Kids, promotes toxic free lifestyles to reduce the chance of childhood cancer.
