Join us as historian Stephen Runkle, will present the first half of our ever popular mini-history series. This presentation explores the causes of the Native American Rebellion by the Ottawa Chief Pontiac against the English Colonies during 1763 and 1764.
No textbook or preparation for the course will be required.
(An audio-rcording of Iroquois songs is played as an introduction to presentations. Also included is a hands-on display of wildlife furs and war clubs used by the region's Eastern Woodland Native Americans.)
