Event Description:
Join author & historian, Scott L. Mingus as he presents the Confederates' approach led by Jubal Early in late June 1863 to the Susquehanna River and accepting the surrender of York. State militia defending the river crossing burn the world's longest covered bridge to prevent Rebel passage.

This event will take place at the Museum Passenger Station. It is open to the public. Refreshments are provided. Museum members, children 12 and under, free: Non-members, $4.00.
